Field-driven side-by-side magnetic domain wall dynamics in ferromagnetic nanostrips

There has been a plethora of studies on domain wall dynamics in magnetic nanostrips, mainly because its versatile non-linear physics and potential applications data storage devices. However, most the focus out-of-plane walls or in-plane head-to-head (tail-to-tail) walls. Here, we numerically study field-driven side-by-side ferromagnetic strips, which can be stable presence an easy-axis anisotropy transverse to strip. The move rigid-body manner at low field, show complex Walker breakdown behavior high field. We observe multi-step through vortex nucleation wide strips. In Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction (DMI), first field decreases then increases with interfacial DMI, while keeps increasing bulk DMI. These findings complement current understanding dynamics.
